  • Untamed Theory’s founder Tyler Welton understands that information security is a complicated and ever-changing industry. Untamed Theory provides cutting edge information security services to enable companies to defend themselves from real and sophisticated adversaries. Their goal is to come alongside business owners and simplify the process of securing their business.

    The landscape of information security is complicated. After doing quite a bit of competitive analysis, we found that the industry aimed at securing businesses were filled with technical jargon. They positioned themselves as the heroes that vulnerable businesses needed. We saw our opportunity.

  • We positioned Untamed Theory as a helpful guide, aimed at walking businesses through the process of information security and distilling the otherwise complicated landscape into something that was simple and easy to understand. We wanted the business owners to know that we had their backs - and it starts with speaking their language.

    Tyler mentioned that his role is to always be multiple steps ahead of the adversary. That got our minds running around the theme of chess. Strategy. It’s a game focused on attacking and defending. We used this motif and created a logo and visual identity based on a knight from a chess board.
